A 5.3-greatness tremor struck Surigao del Sur region in southern Philippines on Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The establishment said the shake, which struck at 4:42 a.m. neighborhood time, hit at a profundity of five km, nine km southeast of Carrascal town.
There was no announced setbacks or harm, Xinhua News Agency detailed.
The foundation said the tremor, which was structural in source, was additionally felt in the urban areas of Butuan, Tandag and Cagayan de Oro, and Misamis Oriental in the southern Philippines.
It was likewise felt in Cebu City in the focal Philippines, the foundation said. The foundation said post-quake tremors are normal.
