Amaechi Directly On Igbo Administration – Ohanaeze

Beset National Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Uche Okwukwu, has said the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, was directly in his statement that the South East does not stand an opportunity in the 2019 presidential race.

Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi

Okwukwu, in an announcement, yesterday, said it was unfortunate that some Igbo chiefs have been assaulting the Transportation Minister over his remarks on which zone will deliver the leader of the nation in 2023.

He expressed that the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo double-crossed the Igbo race by taking a fanatic remain in the 2019 general race.

“I read with concentrated quietness the deplorable and grievous articulation credited to the Secretary of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), Okwu Nnabuike, which explanation was exclusively gone for undermining the identity of Amaechi, an Illustrious Igbo child, loyalist, patriot and by and by the transportation priest of Nigeria.

“Amaechi unsurprising declaration such that Ndigbo had, by a demonstration of oversight or commission shot themselves out of the administration come 2023 is only reality.

“As far as I could possibly know, as the secretary general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Nwodo sold out Amaechi and the Igbo race as he (Nwodo) had prior spoken and concurred that Ohanaeze Ndigbo will be impartial by not embracing any possibility for the presidential race. In 2015, Ohanaeze took this way and fizzled.

“Unfortunately, Nwodo and any semblance of Nnabuike purportedly supported Alhaji Atiku Abubakar without managing Amaechi (at that point executive general of Buhari Campaign Organization), the chance to display the explanations behind the President’s offered for a second term.

“Amaechi and his kindred nationalists had contended that it was better for Ndigbo to cast a ballot enormously for President Buhari to give them the space to politically and ethically interest for an Igbo president in 2023. The inquiry is, if Atiku had won, will Nnabuike be requesting the administration in 2023. The conspicuous answer is no,” Okwukwu said.
