Godwin Emefiele, legislative head of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has showed up before the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institution for screening as Governor of CBN for the second term.
This is going on as Emefiele is as of now enmeshed in a N500bn outrage he stole from the pinnacle manage an account with the conspiracy of some high ranking representatives of the bank.
The board of trustees, headed by Rafiu Ibrahim, was entrusted to finish the screening in a week and report to the Senate.
Emefiele was designated as CBN Governor by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in 2014 and was again assigned for a similar position by President Muhammadu Buhari
