Buhari Gives His Consent Of N208bn To Upgrade To Standard Nigerian Varsities.
President Muhammadu Buhar has affirmed N208 billion for the redesign of government colleges.
The president made this known at the 23rd meeting of the University of Abuja on Saturday.
Spoken to by Sonny Echono, changeless secretary of the training service, Buhari said Nigeria could conquer its difficulties by building up its human capital.
He said his organization would keep on tending to the worries of the tertiary foundations.
“The present organization will keep on enhancing the infrastructural offices in the colleges, advance educator improvement and educational modules survey,” Buhari said.
“It is in assistance of this that I as of late affirmed the payment of N208bn to open tertiary foundations under the 2019 intercession of the TETFUND.
“The capacity of Nigeria with its immense populace to defeat its present difficulties of improvement never again relies upon oil assets yet on the capacity of the nation to build up its human capital.
“The legislature will keep on investigating the issues raised by the colleges.”
The president included that the legislature would “screen the colleges intently”.
