Two Canadian ladies have been hijacked in Ghana by unidentified shooters in the nation’s second biggest city, Kumasi.
The two understudies, matured 19 and 20, were functioning as volunteers for a philanthropy. They were grabbed on Tuesday evening outside their loft in the Ahodwo locale and packaged into a vehicle, police said.
Police say the two ladies were volunteers with Youth Challenge International, a Toronto-based worldwide improvement association.
“Security offices are working firmly together to get them safeguarded, and the culprits captured,” said David Eklu, Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Worldwide Affairs Canada affirmed the kidnappings and said Canadian authorities were working with experts in Ghana and were in contact with the groups of the two ladies.
