Enyimba forward Omoyele Tosin has set his sight on increasing his goals tally in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after he netted his third goal of the season during Enyimba’s 2-1 victory over Plateau United at the Aba Township Stadium.
The new People’s Elephant number 11 found joy against his former side when he scored a first half brace in the Machday 9 encounter before Moses Effiong’s late goal for the visitors ensured a nervy finish for the host.
‘As far as the chances are coming, I will try to put the ball at the back of the net,’ he told SportingLife.
On his team’s chances of retaining their league title, he said: ‘We have a lot of good players and I believe that we are up to the task. We have a collectively believe that we can achieve success this season and we are try to put in our best. On a personal level, I’ll always do my best to make the fans proud’
Omoyele has made six appearances for Enyimba and scored three goals this season so far. The Aba Elephants are currently top of the NPFL log with 21 points while Plateau United sit 12th with 11points.
