Fayemi pardons inmates on death row, 16 others

Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has pardoned 16 inmates serving in numerous correctional service amenities.

Two on death row had their punishment transformed to life imprisonment.

This was contained in an announcement on Sunday by the Legal professional-Common and Commissioner for Justice, Olawale Fapohunda.

All of the affected inmates had been being saved on the Nigerian Correctional Service amenities in Ado Ekiti and the Most Safety Jail, Kirikiri, in Lagos.

Others embody: Tope Ajayi, Lawrence Idowu Bamidele, Ogunboyo Richard, Ayodele Ayinde, Adebayo Ojo, Akeem Adebayo, Abirifon Julius, Abirifon Olabode.
