The previous president called for coordinated efforts among a few African governments in handling fear mongering.

“Knowledge was poor and governments left on rounds of dissents while paying payments which reinforced the agitators but then governments precluded installment from claiming ransoms. Today, the security issue has gone past the mind and limit of Nigerian government or even West African governments,” he expressed.

Talking on Boko Haram and Herdsmen demonstrations of savagery, Obasanjo deplored over the way that both were not paid attention to from the earliest starting point.

“They have both hatched and created past what Nigeria can deal with alone. They are presently joined and internationalized with ISIS in charge. It is never again an issue of absence of instruction and absence of work for our childhood in Nigeria which it started as, it is presently West African fulanisation, African islamisation and worldwide composed wrongdoings of human dealing, tax evasion, sedate dealing, firearm dealing, unlawful mining and routine change,” Obasanjo said.
