The Ogun Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Saturday said that five people passed on while 14 others supported different level of wounds in a mishap tinvolving two vehicles at Odeda town, along Abeokuta-Ibadan Expressway.
Mr Clement Oladele, the Ogun Sector Commandant of FRSC, told newsmen in Ota, Ogun, that the mishap occurred at about 9.20 p.m. on Friday.
Oladele clarified that a MADZA transport with enrollment number MUS 367 XU passing on travelers from Ibadan to Abeokuta lost control because of risky driving and had a crash with a truck.
He included that the truck with no enrollment number squashed the travelers inside the passenger transport and caught them inside the transport.
The area commandant said that 19 people were associated with the mishap that came about to the demise of five people kicked the bucket, while 14 others supported different degrees of damage.
“The carcasses of the exploited people had been saved at the mortuary of the General Hospital, Ijaye, Ogun, while the survivors were additionally getting treatment at the Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta, Ogun,” he said.
