ENUGU – Hon. Chinedu Ogah, the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 election in Ikwo/Ezza South federal constituency, has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for his victory at the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal.
Reacting to the judgment in an interview with journalists at his Abakiliki residence, Ogah said it was victory for the people of Ikwo/Ezza South federal constituency.

He said the victory was made possible by President Muhammadu Buhari who restored the integrity of judiciary in Nigeria.
Ogah thanked his lawyers, his supporters, the media and all others who contributed to see that he recovered his stolen mandate.
The judgment had caused wild jubilation in Abakiliki, Ebonyi State capital on Monday.
Ogah and his excited crowd of supporters moved in a motorcade around the major streets of Abakiliki, acknowledging cheers from residents.
In a unanimous judgment, the three-man tribunal presided over by Justice Henry Aprioko held that Ogah scored majority of the valid votes cast in the February 23 Ikwo/Ezza South federal constituency election and therefore, declared him winner of the election.
