Athletic Bilbao vs Barcelona: Team news

Bilbao duo Inigo Cordoba and Inigo Martinez are both carrying knocks, but could start nonetheless.

Yeray Alvarez is in line to step in for Martinez at centre-back if required.

Barcelona will have to make do without their talisman Lionel Messi, who is sidelined with a calf injury for the next few weeks.

New signings Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann should start his first competitive games for the club.
