Lagos – Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has called for collaboration between the government and people of the state, noting that adequate cooperation will be of great help to the development of the state.
Speaking at the fifth Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting organized by Lagos State House of Assembly in Agege on Wednesday, Obasa, who commended the 100 days of Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration, also did the cordial relationship existing between the Executive and Legislature in the state and prayed it continues till the end of this administration.

“ I want to tell you that we have a very cordial relationship, very smooth relationship with the current administration and I pray that it will continue till the end of the administration
“We must realize the fact that the Executive and Legislature are different arms of institutions and each of them has roles to play as provided by the constitution but that does not mean that there should be conflict or a kind of confrontation while working together.
On the theme for this year’s conference, titled: “Environmental Challenges: Community Engagement To Facilitate Lasting Solution,” Chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Speakers, he said it was aptly chosen considering the environmental challenges facing the state and its citizens.
