Ibadan – Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved car and house loans for civil and public servants in the state.
Governor Makinde, while addressing the state civil and public servants on Wednesday at his office car park in Agodi, Ibadan during the interactive session that was held to commemorate the 100 days in office of his administration, said a new dawn has set in for the civil and public servants of Oyo State.

He urged them to support his administration towards achieving a better Oyo State he so desired.
Governor Makinde said: “Soldier come soldier go; my tenure will come to an end one day. You have performed excellently great in the last one hundred days in our office and you have supported us and without you, we could not have achieved what we have.”
“We are committed to the wellbeing of our workers so I urged all of you to support this administration towards achieving a desired result.
“The era of you being sacked from work without any justifiable reasons is over; so forget any threat from any politicians who are ready to use you by giving you some instructions that can sabotage this government.
“I urge any of you who have such mindset to desist from such act and also don’t allow yourselves to be used for carrying out any instructions that can affect our administration.”
Meanwhile, earlier in her message, Mrs. Amidat Ololade Agboola, the state Head of Service disclosed that Makinde has approved that car loan scheme and housing loan scheme be reviewed upward.
“To this end, the maximum amount for car loan is now N700, 000 from the previous N500, 000, while the housing loan has also increase from N2 million to N3 million.
Mrs. Agboola also noted that the action of the governor calls for a reward, urging all the civil and public servants in the state to work as a team towards achieving great and desired results at the end of this administration.
