Manchester United will struggle to back up their win over Chelsea on the opening weekend of the Premier League season against Wolves on Monday night.
That is the view of former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen, who thinks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are in for a much tougher test at Molineux.

The Red Devils got their season underway in blistering fashion at Old Trafford on Sunday, thrashing Frank Lampard’s Chelsea side 4-0.
And with admirable performances from new signings Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the feel good factor seems back at the club after a poor end to the last campaign.
After Solskjaer’s arrival last December sparked an upturn in form that catapulted the side into the Champions League spots, the team suffered badly in the last couple of months, eventually finishing sixth.
Many thought this would spark the club into a transfer spree in the summer and although close to £150m was eventually spent, only Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, and youngster Dan James arrived before the deadline.
United’s starting line-up against Chelsea was the youngest in the league on the opening weekend though, and the hope is that they can galvanise as the season progresses.
And a trip to Wolves for their second game will certainly be a good marker as to where United are at.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s newly-promoted team were the Premier League’s surprise package last time around, finishing seventh to claim a Europa League spot.
And they remained unbeaten against United in the three games, beating them in the FA Cup and in the Premier League at home, and drawing 1-1 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture.
Making his predictions ahead of the game, Owen does not think that United will be able to beat Wolves, with the best they could hope for being a draw.
“United were excellent in the second half against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday, but they are in for a tough test at Molineux against a Wolves side who were, arguably, unlucky not to take all three points at the King Power Stadium on Sunday,” he wrote in his weekly BetVictor column.
“Wolves entertain Armenian side Pyunik on Thursday in the Europa League, but they hold a 4-0 lead from the first leg and Nuno Espirito Santo is likely to shuffle his pack ahead of the visit of United.
“It is a game I don’t think the hosts will lose and we will know more about United’s top-four credentials after their trip to the Black Country.”
Elsewhere, Owen had predicted wins for Manchester City at home to Tottenham and Everton at home to Watford.
He also thinks that Frank Lampard will beat Leicester in his first Premier League home game at Chelsea, and has predicted Arsenal to beat Burnley at the Emirates in a high scoring encounter.
Manchester United will take on Wolves on Monday night with kick-off at 8pm.
