Mother of  20-year-old Ada Ifeanyi shot dead by Police males in Ajegunle, Lagos, on Saturday April 13th, has cried out for justice.

In an interview with Punch, Mrs Mercy John, who couldn’t maintain again her tears, stated she noticed her daughter final week and she or he promised to rejoice the Easter together with her. She questioned what her daughter, who she described as quiet and obedient, might have performed to warrant such a brutal assault from the police. The grieving mum stated;

Ada was coming back from a Night membership together with her boyfriend, Emmanuel, on Saturday morning once they have been accosted by SARS officers. Worried that they could possibly be kidnappers as they weren’t sporting uniforms, Emmanuel who was driving, continued and refused to stop. The policemen trailed them to Ada’s residence the place they openned hearth on them as quickly as Emmanuel parked his automobile.

Five policemen have been arrested over the incident whereas considered one of them has been declared needed.
