He took to his social media page to challenge the Immigration department of Kenya after they released a response to the traveler’s allegation of been criminalized and discriminated against on his way to Maputo on the 27th December, 2019 without tagging him.

Here is the unsigned press release from the immigration department in Kenya .

See Micha’el Ernest reaction and responses below.

After the ridicule & discrimination I faced at JKIA. This is how
@ImmigrationDept
has further gone ahead to assassinate my character by releasing an unsigned press release without tagging me or even addressing me; making false claims.

Thank you to people that tagged me because I could have missed seeing it on time. Below is my response to alongside my evidence to further prove the points raised in my previous tweets.

1. Dear  @ImmigrationDept,

Thank you Directorate of Immigration Services for putting an unsigned press release even though you failed to tag me in the post.

Before I proceed, here is my return ticket which was purchased on 24th October 2019 for your reference.

2. I presented this to the immigration officials at the airport yet they insisted that I would not fly and proceeded to criminalize me.

3. I went back and forth with @KenyaAirways ticketing officer at JKIA after I was denied clearance to exit Kenya. all this is verifiable via the many CCTVs at JKIA.

4. Please go back to your CCTV footage and records which will be useful as we move forward with addressing this case legally.

5. My travel companion and I have sent an official email with complaints and we continue to wait for your response. This needs to be taken up legally, as we clearly explain in the email.

Let me just add, I have traveled to over 18 countries and not once have I ever stayed past my return ticket date or my visa date. Not once have I traveled without having a return ticket.
