The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on Sunday, October 13, inspected ongoing work on the Dangote Jetty and Port operated by Dangote Group, on the Lekki axis of Lagos State.
The port serves as an inspiration for the Benin River Port, being developed by the Edo State Authorities and China Harbour Engineering Firm Restricted.
The governor, who has been attending conferences in Abuja and Lagos, on the weekend, stated that key among the many points mentioned in the course of the inspection was how Dangote’s port could be linked to the Benin River Port to produce petrochemical merchandise to the port in Benin.
