His Royal Highness, Oba Joshua Adeyemi Adimula, the Oloota of Odo Owa in Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, has sent a congratulatory message to the State governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq in advance of his first year anniversary in office come May 29, 2020.
The monarch described the executive governor as the hope of the masses and architect of the modern Kwara with the laudable people-oriented programmes of his administration.
Thye Oloota prayed for the governor’s success in efforts at ensuring a peaceful, just and egalitarian state of harmony.
Oba Joshua Adeyemi Adimula also on behalf of the good people of Odo Owa community at home and in the diaspora expressed his profound gratitude to the governor on the appointment of Sir, Chief Titus Olasupo Ashaolu SAN as chairman Kwara State Judicial Commission and the recent appointment of Pastor Abraham Kola Ojo as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment.
The monarch described the two appointees as illustrious sons of Odo Owa Community whose wealth of experience will be brought to the fore in the discharge of their public duties for the benefit of the public.
“Our joy knows no bound on these appointments” Oba Joshua Adeyemi remarked.
Meanwhile, the monarch has pledged the community’s unalloyed support to the government of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.
The Oloota also extended royal greetings to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (CFR) on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
In his message, Oba Adeyemi described the Emir as a quintessential leader whose visionary leadership has been germane to the peace and tranquility witnessed in the state. Oba Adeyemi prayed for long life in good health for the Emir.
In a related development, the Oloota also sent his goodwill message to the Oloffa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II on the occasion of his tenth year on the throne of his forefathers.
Oba Adeyemi, in his message, described the Offa monarch as a visionary leader whose reign has brought great transformational development to the Offa community.
The paramount monarch of Orota Land also used the opportunity to call on political office holders to use their public offices such that they would bring succour to the downtrodden masses of their constituencies.
By so doing, the people of their constituencies who look up to the public office holders to attract the dividends of democracy to the locality would actually enjoy such dividends.
