The previous President who cautioned that each frailty circumstance in Nigeria must be paid attention to and be tended to immediately without partiality or nestling, talked on the theme, “Preparing Nigeria’s human& characteristic assets for national advancement and security”.

Conceding that Boko Haram and herders demonstrations of viciousness were not treated as they ought to toward the start, Obasanjo expressed that Buhari’s legislature fortified Boko Haram by paying payments which they have consistently denied.

He said:-

“They have both brooded and created past what Nigeria can deal with alone. They are presently consolidated and internationalized with ISIS in charge. It is never again an issue of absence of training and absence of work for our young people in Nigeria which it started as, it is presently West African fulanization, African Islamization and worldwide sorted out violations of human dealing, tax evasion, sedate dealing, weapon dealing, illicit mining and routine change.

“However, we could have managed both before, and check them from the beginning, yet Boko Haram young men were viewed as scalawags not requiring genuine consideration in controlling comprehensive proportions of stick and carrot.

Furthermore, when we woke up to the truth, it was swung to industry for one and all to supply materials and hardware that were at that point obsolete and that were not fit for dynamic military reason.

“Fighters were ineffectively prepared for the strange mission, inadequately prepared, ineffectively roused, inadequately drove and made to participate in promulgation as opposed to accomplishing results. Insight was poor and governments left on rounds of refusals while paying payoffs which fortified the guerillas but then governments prevented installments from claiming ransoms. Today, the frailty issue has gone past the mind and limit of Nigerian Government or even West African Governments”.
