LAGOS – The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Zubairu Muazu has called on Police Officers in the State to give their job a human face by ensuring decent relationship with citizens of the state.
The Commissioner of Police made this call at the Graduation of Course ‘35’ Police Human Rights Officer’s Training held at the Area F Command, Ikeja Lagos while he was being represented by the Assistant Commissioner of Police ACP Steve Yabanet who represented him at the event.

He noted that Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) should be used as a means of solving matters instead of issuing a detention order and allowing some cases to get to court.
According to him, “It is now new dawn in the Nigerian Police Force and we now have an AIG with a listening ear and we all should be emulating the good things he is doing.
“The training is to imbibe the culture of respecting human rights into Police officers so that they will not tamper with their rights, thinking they are superior because they are in uniform.
