LAGOS – Business owners in the country have been called upon to adopt franchising for sustainability, growth and expansion of their businesses.
Mr. Chiagozie Nwizu, the managing director of Franchise Business Development Services (FBDS Nigeria), said this at the Naija Business Scale-Up that was held in Lagos at the weekend, adding that the event was organsed to expose business owners to practical development of standard operating procedures to businesses; implementation of close-gap solutions to identified expansion gaps; coaching, training and certification.

According to him, Nigeria will be expecting the emergence of a new breed of franchise champion brands that will soon be exhibiting to investors and commence their expansion programme across the country and internationally.
Nwizi said that the scheme was created to scale up and expand proven and viable Nigerian brands across the country, and to global markets using the globally proven and successful franchising business model.
