Unknown gunmen believed to be assassins have murdered the son of a PDP chieftain in Benue state, Prince Yandev Amaabai, Orkuma Amaabai.

According to stories, Orkuma was assassinated by some alleged political thugs final evening at his residence within the state shortly after coming back from a sit out with mates.

Prince Yandev Amaabai was the Director answerable for Security of the State PDP marketing campaign council and was very instrumental to the success of the party within the simply concluded normal elections.

Confirming the incident, the state police command spokesperson, DSP Catherine Anene,  mentioned investigation into the matter is ongoing and appealed to anybody with helpful data that can assist the police in its investigation, to return ahead.
