The Nationwide Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP), mentioned on Friday that the suspension order slammed on its disputed House of Reps Chief, Ndudi Godwin Elumelu is and 6 different members continues to be in drive.
The party had, on July 11, suspended the members for going against its alternative of candidates for Minority positions within the House of Representatives.
These suspended alongside Elumelu included Lynda Ikpeazu, Wole Oke, Anayo Edwin, Gideon Gwadi, Toby Okechukwu and Adekoya Abdul-Majid.
In a press release by its spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP mentioned the suspended members can’t conduct any enterprise of the party at no matter stage till disciplinary measures have been concluded.

The assertion mentioned, “That the NWC in its knowledge, understanding that nature abhors a vacuum and according to its place on the matter, which has not modified, directed that the affairs of the PDP Caucus of the House of Representatives be organised and managed by: Hon. Kingsley Chinda, Hon. Yakubu Barde, Hon. Chukwuka Onyema and Hon. Muraina Ajibola.
“That the members talked about in paragraph three above have the categorical mandate and authority of the PDP to guide its Caucus on the House of Representatives.
“That the PDP under our leadership will not reward disloyalty and will not allow anyone other than the party to impose their choices on us with the sole aim of annihilating or stifling the voice of the opposition”.
The party referred to as on its members within the Nationwide Assembly and different organs of the PDP to accord the party’s decisions the mandatory help to execute its mandate.
