“I’m now a married woman, and the obvious thing for me was to take my husband’s name. But it’s my decision, and I respect that every woman has the right to choose.”

She also emphasised that maintaining privacy in her relationship has helped her control her public narrative.

“Moving in silence allows you to build your own story and share it when you’re ready,” she explained.

Reflections on Family and Inspiration

Temi further spoke about her father’s recently released memoir, highlighting the insights it provides into his decades-long entrepreneurial journey. She praised his resilience and his approach to encouraging his children to carve independent paths:

“At first I was disappointed, but it turned out to be a blessing. It encouraged us to create our own way,” she said, noting that her father’s determination during difficult times remains her greatest source of inspiration.

Acknowledging Privilege

Addressing her upbringing, Temi openly acknowledged the advantages of being born into privilege:

“Oh, absolutely. You will never hear me deny it. It’s important for people born into privilege to acknowledge the advantage they’ve had.”

Temi’s reflections underscore her commitment to personal choice, independence, and authenticity, both in her personal life and public persona.
