A female officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, LASTMA, was squashed to death by a trailer in the Apapa arae of Lagos state on Saturday night May 25th.

The perished distinguished as Arogundade Remilekun, was said to be at the back of the truck coordinating traffic when the truck driver turned around. Obscure to him, Arogundade was behind his truck. She was squashed and kicked the bucket in a split second.

Affirming the occurrence, the representative of LASTMA, Mamud Hassan, said the driver of the trailer fled the scene and relinquished the vehicle which has been seized by the police. Hassan unveiled that the perished was made due by her two-year old little girl, a spouse who worked in one of the Local Governments in Lagos and a grandma.

He included that the remaining parts of the unfortunate casualty has been stored at the Lagos Island General Hospital mortuary.
