VeryDarkMan Praises Minister After Bobrisky Bribery Scandal Suspensions

Amid the controversy surrounding an audio recording he shared, social media influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has provided details of his recent meeting with Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior.

According to Eyes of Lagos, Otse highlighted allegations made by Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, in the viral recording. Okuneye claimed to have paid ₦15 million in bribes to members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have money laundering charges against him dropped. Additionally, Bobrisky alleged that he bribed officials of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) to avoid imprisonment.

Addressing the issue, VeryDarkMan stated: “Honorable Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, you have proven yourself to me before, so I was calm, just watching, and boom—you did it again with the suspension of some officers involved in this Bobrisky saga. Much love, Egbon. It’s a fight to make Nigeria a better place, and we will definitely make it better with our little efforts. Keep that fire burning. We’ve shared ideas, and I believe in you for now. But as a politician, you might change tomorrow, so for now, you’re the guy. God bless you. I love you, Egbon.”
