ATSO Ile-Ife Chapter Records Historic Second Online Meeting Ahead of Osun State Inauguration
The Association of Tutorial School Operators (ATSO), Ile-Ife Chapter, has successfully concluded an emergency online meeting, marking only the second time in the association’s history that such a gathering has been conducted and completed with notable success.
The extraordinary session was convened in response to the urgent need for the indefatigable Ife Chapter to meet its responsibilities and align fully with other zones in Osun State ahead of the much-anticipated State Chapter inauguration scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, 4 December 2025.

Akahi News learnt that the virtual meeting attracted a strong presence of members, showing renewed commitment and collective determination to ensure that the Ile-Ife Zone remains an active and progressive force within the state structure of ATSO.
Reconciliation Efforts and National Leadership Commended
During the meeting, a brief but insightful report was delivered by Mr Bamisaye Collins Gabriel, Director of First Colink Learning College, Ile-Ife, who represented the Ife Zonal Chapter at the recently concluded reconciliation meeting held in Ede, Osun State.
According to his account, the National President of the association, Mr Oludotun Sodunke, alongside his team, played a commendable mediation role in restoring harmony and strengthening unity at the state level. Mr Bamisaye emphasised that the reconciliation process was transparent, purposeful and focused on building sustainable peace within the association.
Akahi News gathered that many participants expressed appreciation for the national leadership’s intervention, describing it as timely and instrumental in stabilising the path towards a successful inauguration.
Financial Commitment Towards State Inauguration
As part of the collective preparation for the Osun State ATSO inauguration, the three recognised zones — Ile-Ife, Osogbo and Ilesa — were directed to contribute specified amounts to support planning, logistics and overall coordination for the event.
To demonstrate leadership and accountability, the Chairman of the Ile-Ife Zone, Mr Adedoyin Ademola, urged all members to make an immediate and “bearable” financial contribution. His call was met with visible resolve, as members present in the meeting responded with assurance and practical action.
Akahi News confirmed that as at the time of filing this report, the following prominent members and institutions had already responded positively by transferring their allotted contributions into the designated account:
- Management of Apex Tutors, Ile-Ife
- Management of Demol Educational Institute, Ile-Ife
- Mr Olaosebikan Philip
- Management of Legend Tutorial College, Ile-Ife
- Management of Akahi Tutors, Ile-Ife
- Management of Goodnews Academy
Their swift response has been widely acknowledged within the chapter as a demonstration of loyalty, cooperation and commitment to collective progress.
Deadline Set as Over 50 Members Yet to Respond
Despite the encouraging response from a number of prominent members, Akahi News gathered that over 50 other members of the association are yet to fulfil their obligation.
In order to maintain organisational discipline and ensure seamless participation in the inauguration, a firm deadline of 10:00am tomorrow has been issued for all outstanding payments to be completed.
Observers within the association noted that this moment presents an opportunity for every member to reaffirm their dedication to the growth and stability of the ATSO in Osun State.
A Sign of Digital Progress and Renewed Unity
The successful execution of the emergency meeting through an online platform has also been hailed as a symbol of progress for the Ile-Ife Chapter, demonstrating adaptability, innovation and readiness to embrace modern means of communication in pursuit of its objectives.
Many participants described the experience as a reflection of a new era within the association — one grounded in unity, responsiveness and purposeful leadership.
As the Osun State ATSO inauguration draws closer, members and stakeholders alike remain hopeful that the spirit of cooperation exhibited by the Ile-Ife Chapter will set a strong precedent for the future of the association across all zones.
