A Florida woman has been arrested in a man’s deadly stabbing after initially telling investigators the sufferer died after falling on a knife, authorities stated.
Lilliam Patterson, 19, was charged Saturday with negligent manslaughter within the death of Xavier Collins in her house in Marion County.
Deputies confirmed up on the house Friday evening in response to a 911 name reporting a coronary heart assault, the Marion County Sheriff’s Workplace stated in a news launch.

After discovering a traumatic damage to the 19-year-old Collins’ chest, “Patterson then claimed Collins had fallen onto a knife held by one the children in the home,” the sheriff’s workplace stated.
She then claimed each she and a small little one had been holding knives, and Collins fell onto one of many knives, in keeping with the news launch.

The sheriff’s workplace stated that in one other interview with investigators, Patterson claimed Collins started “wrestling” together with her as she was holding a knife in a single hand and a cellphone within the different.
“Patterson changed her statement multiple times regarding where she was holding the knife,” authorities stated, including: “Patterson also acknowledged she had multiple opportunities to relinquish the knife before, and during, the time the victim, Collins, was ‘wrestling’ with her.”
