Former PDP Senatorial Aspirant Thomas Ofem Endorses Yibala Inyang for Yakurr LG Chairmanship Under APC
Less than 24 hours after the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State announced its candidates for the upcoming November local government elections, former PDP senatorial aspirant and development expert, Thomas Ofem, has publicly endorsed Yibala Inyang, the APC’s chairmanship candidate for Yakurr Local Government Council.
Taking to his verified Facebook page, Ofem, popularly known as Bob T, expressed his support for Inyang, stating that he had predicted this development. Ofem wrote, “When I posted this photograph from my archives, I projected internally that Yibala Inyang would secure the APC ticket for the Yakurr Local Government Chairmanship position. I heard today that my projection has come true.”
Ofem, who has a longstanding friendship with Inyang, praised his leadership qualities. “Yibala (Dombra) is an old friend of mine. He has managed himself successfully so far, and I strongly believe that he will bring his discipline, self-respect, and team play to the job if he becomes our Chairman.”
Concluding his message, Ofem extended his best wishes to Inyang, saying, “I endorse him and wish him success in the forthcoming elections.”
