His talent earned him a move to Belgium, where he joined Royal Antwerp FC. At reserve level, he made a strong impression, scoring 12 goals in 21 appearances. Those numbers pushed him closer to the senior team, where he eventually made 28 appearances.
For a young Nigerian striker abroad, it was a promising climb — one that suggested a bright European future ahead.
Southampton Move and Search for Playing Time
In 2024, Victor Udoh signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Southampton FC in England. It was seen as a major step in his development, with expectations of further growth in one of Europe’s most competitive environments.
