The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has returned a ₦5 million cheque to its rightful owner, Mr. Godfrey Chukwudi, following an operation at Tenant Road, Aba, Abia State.

The money was discovered during the Open Drug Market operation, which saw the participation of officials from the Department of State Services (DSS), the Military, and the Police. The sum was counted in their presence to ensure transparency.
After verification, it was confirmed that the funds belonged to a Point of Sale (POS) operator. The money was subsequently handed back to Mr. Chukwudi in the presence of Mr. Chima Amadi, Chairman of the Ekumi Traders Medicine Dealers Association Union, alongside NAFDAC Directors Pharm. Shaba Mohammed (fsi) and Dr. Martins Iluyomade (fsi).
