The Nigeria Police Force has reportedly rescued popular TikTok content creator, Peller, who was allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Wednesday during a livestream.
Akahi News learnt that Peller’s abduction, which was captured live, sparked widespread concern among fans and social media users. The unsettling incident quickly went viral, drawing public attention to the growing issue of insecurity across the country.
In a fresh update on Thursday morning, Peller’s close associate and fellow content creator, Sandra Benede, confirmed his release. Speaking in a live video, she revealed that the police had successfully located him.
“They have seen him. DPO has seen him. They never give details but they have seen him,” Sandra said, indicating that Peller is currently with the Divisional Police Officer.
While specific details of the rescue operation remain undisclosed, Akahi News gathered that Peller is safe and receiving care after his ordeal.
This development comes as social media users continue to commend the swift action of security operatives, while also urging authorities to intensify efforts in tackling rising cases of abduction and violent crimes across Nigeria.
