The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY Iree) has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session for all full-time programmes, including ND, HND, and NCE levels.
According to the detailed schedule obtained by Akahi News, the first semester is set to commence on Monday, 3rd November 2025, marking the resumption of ND I, HND I, HND II, NCE I, and NCE II students.
📅 Key Dates for the First Semester
- Resumption for NDI, HNDI, HNDII, NCE I & NCE II Students: 3rd November 2025
- Registration for NDI, HNDI, HNDII, NCE I & NCE II: 3rd November – 28th November 2025 (4 weeks)
- Orientation for Fresh Students: 1st – 5th December 2025
- Commencement of Lectures (NDI, HNDI, HNDII): 8th – 19th December 2025
- Christmas/New Year Break: 22nd December 2025 – 2nd January 2026
- Resumption and Continuation of Lectures: 5th January – 10th April 2026 (14 weeks)
- Resumption for NDII & NCE III Students: 23rd January 2026
- Registration for NDII & NCE III Students: 26th January – 6th February 2026 (2 weeks)
- Teaching Practice (NCE III): 9th January – 1st May 2026 (12 weeks)
🧾 Examination and Matriculation Schedule
Akahi News gathered that submission of examination questions for NDI, HNDI, HNDII, NCE I & NCE II students will hold from 9th – 13th February 2026, while NDII students will submit between 16th – 20th March 2026.
The matriculation ceremony for ND I, HND I, and NCE I students is scheduled for 6th – 10th March 2026, marking the official induction of new intakes into the polytechnic community.
Mid-semester tests will be conducted as follows:
- NDI, HNDI, HNDII, NCE I & NCE II: 9th – 13th March 2026
- NDII Students: 23rd – 27th March 2026
🧠 Revision and Examination
Revision for all students, including NDI, NDII, HNDI, HNDII, NCE I, and NCE II, will take place from 13th – 17th April 2026, followed by the first semester examinations scheduled to run from 20th April – 8th May 2026 (3 weeks).
The academic calendar, as seen by Akahi News, also includes internal moderation of examination questions, slated for 16th – 20th February 2026 for NDI levels and 23rd – 27th March 2026 for NDII students.
