Protests Erupt in Ile Oluji

News of Isaiah’s death triggered protests in Ile Oluji as residents and sympathisers joined the deceased’s family to demand justice. Demonstrators took to the streets, chanting solidarity songs and calling for transparency in the ongoing investigation.

Isaiah’s younger sister, Rachel Bademosi, who led the peaceful demonstration, recounted the harrowing events of her last interaction with her brother. According to her, Isaiah borrowed her phone on the night of his death but later called her with his employer’s phone at exactly 10:16 p.m., asking for her password. That, she explained, was the last time she heard from him alive.

By the following morning, Rachel said she received devastating news of his sudden demise. She rushed to the scene only to meet a disturbing sight. “I saw blood through the window of my brother’s boss’s bedroom. It was obvious something terrible had happened. I want justice not just for my brother, but for every family that could suffer this same pain. Nigerians must help us get answers,” she declared.

Calls for Justice Gain Momentum

The tragic incident has sparked conversations on social media, with many Nigerians demanding accountability and a thorough probe into the circumstances of Isaiah’s death. Civil society organisations have also weighed in, calling on the Ondo State Police Command to ensure that the case is not swept under the carpet.

Community leaders in Ile Oluji have appealed for calm, urging residents to avoid taking the law into their own hands while expressing their support for the bereaved family.

The Road Ahead

While the identity of the arrested suspect has not been officially disclosed, police sources hinted that investigators are carefully piecing together witness accounts, forensic evidence, and testimonies to establish what truly transpired inside the employer’s house on the night of Isaiah’s death.

As investigations continue, the Bademosi family and the wider public wait anxiously for answers. The case has now become a symbol of the broader call for justice and accountability in Nigeria, with many insisting that this is not just about one young man’s death but about ensuring that every life is valued and protected under the law.

Akahi News will continue to monitor developments as the police intensify their investigation into this tragic case.
