Come ring out your joy to the Lord, hail the God who saves us. Let us come before him singing for joy, with songs let us praise the Lord.
Let us pray:
Almighty ever living God, with faith and humility, we offer our morning prayer in thanksgiving to you for bringing us safely to the end of this week. Thank you for granting us your blessing and support. Our prayer of thanksgiving adds nothing to your greatness but only profit us for salvation. Accept of our grateful hearts Lord.
Lord Jesus, open to us the treasure of your love. Fill us with praise of you today, may we take with us your word wherever we go. Teach us to respond to your Word like Mary our Mother. Strengthen us with faith in you and hope that does not fail.
Lord God, as we go about our social engagements and recreation over the weekend, let the splendour of your light shine upon us. Help us to bring peace, joy and comfort to all who will encounter us.

Lord God, we recognize with joy that you created us, in order to communicate yourself in love, and that you guide us by your providence. In your unfailing kindness, support us in our journey of faith, renew your life within us, guard it and make it bear fruits for eternity.
Lord Jesus, into your hands, we commend our spirits, grant us a peaceful and comfortable night rest. Renew us by the repose of sleep. Protect us against all evil and dangers of the night. In the morning, may we rise up to join other living souls to worship you in truth and in Spirit.
