“God our loving Father, before we begin this day, we offer our morning prayer of thanksgiving for the gift of a new day. Our prayer of thanksgiving adds nothing to your greatness but only profits us for our salvation. Thank you for the privilege to be among the people that know you, love you, and serve you, the author of life daily,” he prayed.

Rev. Fr. Adeyemi sought God’s presence and guidance for the day ahead, asking for joy, protection, and divine support in their daily activities. He prayed for the grace to avoid wrongdoing and for their words, thoughts, and deeds to be guided as they perform their duties.

“Almighty God, as you have enabled us to begin this day, give us the fullness of joy in your presence. Give us the grace to avoid wrongdoing; guide our words, thoughts, and deeds as we perform our duties this day,” he implored.

He concluded by seeking blessings for the day and divine support in all their endeavors. “Loving Jesus, bless and sanctify this day for us. As we go out, go ahead of us to lead the way for us. Be behind us to shield us from all danger and harmful things. Walk beside us to give us your divine support and be above us to grant us your abundant blessings. After our activities of this day, may we have many reasons to thank you for a fruitful day,” he concluded.
