Good morning my dear people of God.

Come ring out your joy to the Lord, hail the God who saves us, let us come before him singing for joy, with songs let us praise the Lord.

Let us pray:
Almighty God and Father, yours is the day and yours is the night, all seasons belong to you and you assign to mankind their limits in life, thank you for the gift of a beautiful working day. We are grateful for your daily sustenance of us both spiritual and temporal.

Lord God, as you have enabled us to begin this day, give us the fullness of joy in your presence. We remember those to whom you have entrusted the affairs of our nation at different levels of governance, grant them wisdom, presence of mind and discernment to rule for the common good.

Lord Jesus, bless us as we go to work this day. Make our businesses prosperous and our official duties successful. Bring healing to the sick, give nourishment to the hungry and more strength to the elderly ones. Grant good conscience to the young people to take responsibility for their actions.
