Motivated by the Missionaries’ Witness
When asked by the host what inspired him to pursue a vocation in the Catholic priesthood, Rev. Fr Odediran spoke with heartfelt clarity. He credited his calling to the early influence of the White Fathers—the missionary priests who worked in his community during his youth. According to him, the fervent prayer life, simplicity, generosity, and unwavering commitment of these early missionaries left a lasting impression on his young heart.

“I was deeply touched by the lifestyle of the White Fathers. Their prayerfulness, the way they lived among the people, and their selfless service in the vineyard of the Lord were like a silent but strong voice calling me to follow their path,” he said.

These early encounters planted a seed that would eventually grow into a lifelong vocation in the Church, marked by pastoral dedication, community engagement, and spiritual leadership.
