A vintage photograph featuring some of Nigeria’s most influential Christian leaders has resurfaced online, drawing widespread attention and sparking conversations among faithful and social media users.

The picture, shared by Adesoji Famoroti on Facebook, captures a youthful gathering of men who would later rise to become some of the nation’s most prominent pastors.
In the image, Pastor Enoch Adeboye (popularly called Daddy G.O. of the Redeemed Christian Church of God) is seen deeply immersed in books, a reflection of his scholarly disposition. Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) is pictured holding a tambourine, symbolising his passion for worship. Bishop Francis Wale Oke, current President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, clutches his Bible tightly under his arm.
Also featured is Pastor Tunde Joda, founder of Christ Chapel International Churches, carrying a bag believed to contain his Bible. Another young cleric, identified as part of the group, is seen confidently holding a briefcase, exuding poise and determination.
The post, titled “Throwback: Yesteryears Picture of Today’s Prominent Men of God — Who Can You Identify and What is the Unique Thing about Them Today?”, has since attracted widespread admiration, with many Nigerians reflecting on the humble beginnings of these church leaders and the remarkable growth of their ministries over the decades.
Faithful described the image as a reminder of divine calling, discipline, and perseverance, pointing to how each man’s passion in the picture foreshadowed the global influence they command today.
