Abuja is set to witness a football spectacle like never before as Zahra Buhari-Indimi, daughter of former President Muhammadu Buhari, hosts a charity match between Barcelona Legends and African Legends at the iconic Moshood Abiola National Stadium on October 25, 2025.
The much-anticipated event, organised in collaboration with the Attom Foundation inspired by Yahaya Attom, promises to blend entertainment, philanthropy, and continental unity, with proceeds directed towards the ZMB Homes Foundation — a non-profit dedicated to supporting widows and orphans across Nigeria.
A Unique Blend of Sport and Humanitarian Impact
Speaking ahead of the event, Mrs. Buhari-Indimi described the initiative as a “unique fusion of sport, charity, and continental friendship.” She emphasised that the charity match is not merely an exhibition game but a powerful avenue for social transformation.
“This event is not just about football; it is about using the universal language of the game to unite people and bring hope to communities that need it most,” she said.
Funds raised will be channelled into youth empowerment, maternal health, and education for underprivileged communities, three core areas at the heart of the ZMB Foundation’s mission.

Zahra Buhari-Indimi also reflected on how her father’s life and leadership continue to inspire her humanitarian work.
“Baba came from a modest background but rose to achieve so much for Nigeria. I’m committed to helping many more people with similar backgrounds realise their potential, just as my father did,” she remarked.
