Major Highlights of the Meeting

The major highlight of the historic online session centred on the forthcoming ATSO State Election and updates from the recent collaboration with other Zone like Modakeke.

Members deliberated on the welfare report presented by the Welfare Team, which emphasised the need to continue visiting and checking on members who were absent in previous meetings to maintain unity and inclusiveness within the Association.

The height of the meeting came when the ATSO Ife Zonal Chairman, Mr. Adedoyin Ademola, raised a motion on the need for the zone to have a representative at the State executive level of the Association.

After robust discussions and careful consideration of all relevant factors, members reached a unanimous resolution that ATSO Ife Zone will produce a candidate for the post of Secretary at the forthcoming State election scheduled for November 2025 in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

At the end of the deliberation, Mr. Joseph Iyaji of Akahi Tutors, Ile-Ife, was nominated and unanimously adopted as the choice candidate to represent the ATSO Ife Zonal Chapter in the State executive race.

The meeting was widely commended by members as orderly, productive, and inspiring, marking another milestone in the digital advancement and coordination of the Association.
