Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Ife Deanery, Holds 3-Day Open-Air Crusade at SS. Peter and Paul Pro-Cathedral

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria, Ife Deanery Chapter, has commenced a three-day open-air crusade aimed at renewing faith, restoring hope, and strengthening spiritual lives across the Deanery and neighbouring communities.

The programme, which began on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, is currently underway and will conclude on Friday, 5 December 2025, at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Pro-Cathedral Church, Lagere, Ile-Ife. Faithful from different parishes, towns, and surrounding areas have continued to throng the venue in anticipation of what many have already described as a move of God.

Akahi News gathered that the maiden day of the crusade recorded an impressive turnout, with worshippers arriving early to secure spaces in the open-air ground, singing songs of praise and worship even before the formal commencement of activities. Rev. Fr. Bamgboye Leads Powerful Ministration on Day One

Day One of the crusade featured the Ife Deanery Charismatic Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Francis Bamgboye, whose message centred on the theme, “Hope in Our Hands – Restoring the Broken,” drawn from the book of Isaiah 58:12. Speaking with clarity, compassion, and spiritual authority, the cleric encouraged believers to become vessels of restoration in a world plagued by despair, brokenness, and uncertainty.
