Catholic Priests in Osogbo Diocese Extend Warm Wishes for a Blessed March
As the world welcomes the month of March, Reverend Fathers from the Osogbo Catholic Diocese have shared heartfelt messages of hope, faith, and encouragement with the faithful. Their words, filled with spiritual guidance and blessings, aim to inspire and uplift as the new month begins.

Rev. Fr. Festus Komolafe opened his message with a powerful reflection from Psalm 40:2: *”The Lord drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.”* He encouraged believers to step into the new month with confidence, reminding them that God has already established their path on solid ground. “As we step into the dawn of a new month, fear not, for Emmanuel is with you to lead the way. March into dominion and success because He who called you has set your feet on the solid rock. You are a destined child of God. May happiness and peace be yours in this month and the months ahead,” he wrote. Fr. Komolafe concluded with a warm wish for a Happy New Month of March.
Similarly, Rev. Fr. Peter Adeyemi began his message by extending greetings for a happy weekend and a glorious new month. He invoked God’s blessings, praying, *”O God, be gracious and bless us, and let Your perpetual light shine upon us. So will Your ways be known upon the earth, and all nations learn Your saving help.”* In a heartfelt prayer, Fr. Adeyemi expressed gratitude for the gift of a new month and the blessings it holds. He prayed for divine guidance, protection, and sanctification throughout March, asking God to take control of every word and action. “Omnipotent God, in the new month of March, make us steadfast in faith, joyful in hope, and untiring in love,” he added. Fr. Adeyemi also prayed for prosperity in careers and businesses, concluding with a hope that all would offer thanksgiving to God at the end of the month.
Rev. Fr. Lawrence Olaniyan, in his characteristic simplicity and warmth, welcomed the faithful to March with a prayer for God’s presence and provision. “May God journey with you, keep you safe, calm your fears, bless your endeavors, and supply all your needs. It is well with you,” he wrote, offering a message of reassurance and divine favor.
These messages from the revered clerics of the Osogbo Catholic Diocese serve as a reminder of God’s unwavering presence and the promise of His blessings. As the faithful embark on the journey of March, the words of Fr. Komolafe, Fr. Adeyemi, and Fr. Olaniyan resonate with hope, encouragement, and a call to trust in God’s divine plan. May the month of March indeed be a time of peace, success, and spiritual growth for all.
