The Catholic Social Communication Commission, Ife Deanery, has elected a new set of executive members to pilot its affairs for the next tenure. The election, which journalists of Akahi News learnt was peaceful, transparent, and highly participatory, took place on Sunday, 16 November 2025, shortly after Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Light Catholic Church, Obafemi Awolowo University Campus, Ile-Ife.
The transition marks a significant moment for the deanery, especially as the outgoing President, Engr. Oni E.O., formally presented his farewell message, appreciating members for their support over the past eight years. His message, attached to the election briefing, highlighted years of steady growth, strengthened unity, and renewed commitment to evangelisation through modern communication channels.
