Deji Adeyanju Labels Four Serving Tinubu Ministers as ‘Ghosts’
By Joseph Iyaji | Akahi News
Human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has stirred fresh debate after alleging that four Ministers in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet are virtually unknown to Nigerians.

Adeyanju, a consistent critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, made the claim in a Facebook post on Tuesday, arguing that the officials are “ghost Ministers” with little or no public visibility.
According to him, the names on the list include Sa’idu Alkali, Minister of Transportation; Ibrahim Gaidam, Minister of Police Affairs; Bosun Tijjani, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy; and Oyetola Gboyega, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.
Mixed Reactions Trail the Claim
The post quickly drew reactions from Nigerians online, with several followers countering Adeyanju’s assertion.
One user, @Afolabi Sikiru Olayinka, remarked: “Oyetola is not a noisy man. He has been doing his job effectively.”
Similarly, @Chijioke Godswill Ndukwe defended Bosun Tijani, describing him as “one of the smartest and hardworking guys.”
Another commentator, @Abdulganity Sahid Olaide Ezra, also disagreed, stating: “The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy is performing. He may not be known to you because he is not giving you blue envelope.”
Background
Since President Tinubu unveiled his cabinet, public scrutiny has remained high, with critics questioning the effectiveness and visibility of some ministers. Adeyanju’s latest remarks appear to reinforce ongoing conversations about accountability and performance within the administration.
