Hon. Dr. Mrs. Stella Odey-Ekpo, Commissioner representing Cross River State at the Federal Character Commission, has intensified grassroots engagement with a strategic meeting held yesterday with polling unit leaders in Ugaga Ward, Yala Local Government Area.

The meeting, Akahi News gathered, was aimed at strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the ward level and deepening its structures ahead of future political activities.

Consolidating APC’s Grassroots Strength

Addressing the leaders, Dr. Odey-Ekpo emphasised the need for polling unit leaders to adopt proactive measures that would ensure the party’s continuous visibility and acceptance in the community. She stressed that political growth begins at the grassroots and urged the leaders to remain steadfast in mobilising support.
