Mammoth Crowd Marches from Palace to Rally Ground

Akahi News reports that artisans, market women, students, youths and party supporters lined the roads from the palace through major streets, chanting and waving ADC flags as they escorted the leadership to the rally venue.

“Nigerians Have Resolved to Vote Out the Present Administration” — Aregbesola

Addressing supporters, Aregbesola declared that Nigerians across social and political divides had resolved to replace the current leadership over worsening insecurity, economic hardship, poverty and what he described as poor governance.

He said:

“There is no sector where the current government has not failed. The economy is in dire straits and insecurity is ravaging the country.”

The former governor positioned the ADC as the only credible alternative capable of delivering a government of vision, mission and direction committed to mass-oriented development.

Party Leaders Rally Faithful for 2026 Contest

Several ADC leaders who addressed the crowd echoed Aregbesola’s call for greater grassroots engagement.
Speakers included Dr Charles Omidiji, Alhaji Azeez Adesiji, Senator Felix Ogunwale, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti and former Speaker Dr Najeem Salaam.

They described the ADC as the only party with the “moral clarity and capacity” to rescue Osun State and Nigeria from ongoing decline.

Other notable attendees were Engr. Jide Adeniji, Alhaji Rasaq Salinsile, Revd. Adelowo Adebiyi, Senator Adelere Oriolowo, and Mr Jide Bewaji, among other leaders of the political bloc.

Tour Ends with Renewed Energy Across Osun

The Osogbo rally marked the final leg of the ADC’s federal constituency tour covering all three constituencies in the state.
Party sources told Akahi News that the tour recorded overwhelming receptions in every local government visited, boosting confidence ahead of the 2026 elections.

Residents say the turnout in Osogbo may be a preview of the intense political contest expected in the months ahead.
