Nigerian Navy Ship Commander Highlights Security Challenges and Achievements
Commodore Rotimi Oderemi, the outgoing commander of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) in Calabar, has identified piracy, illegal oil bunkering, cultism, and militancy as major security challenges in his area of operation. Despite these challenges, Oderemi noted that the NNS made significant progress in creating a safer and more secure maritime environment.

During his handover ceremony to Commodore Ajomabi Oride, Oderemi emphasized the importance of teamwork, dedication, and collaboration in tackling these security concerns.
