Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has revealed plans to return to university after admitting that his poor command of English has become a significant personal concern.

Despite his meteoric rise to fame and financial success through online streaming and entertainment, Peller admitted that communication remains one of his biggest challenges. According to him, the inability to express himself fluently in English has affected his confidence, particularly when engaging with a wider international audience.

“I need to improve myself. My English is very bad. I’m going to the university soon to study arts,” Peller told viewers during the live session.

Struggles with Global Communication

During the conversation, Peller revealed that his difficulty with English has made him anxious about interacting with global influencers and content creators. He specifically mentioned popular American stars DDG and iShowSpeed, admitting that he currently cannot envision having meaningful conversations with them.

“I can’t see myself meeting DDG and Speed because how would I communicate with them?” he said.

Public Reactions and Support

The announcement comes amid heightened public attention following Peller’s widely publicized breakup with fellow content creator and love interest, Jarvis, a situation that has kept him trending across social media platforms.

Reactions to Peller’s decision online have been mixed. While many fans praised him for prioritising self-improvement and education, some highlighted the irony of his choice, recalling instances when he previously mocked university graduates. Nevertheless, supporters have applauded his honesty, encouraging him to pursue education regardless of age or status.

Observers noted that Peller’s decision reflects a growing awareness among content creators of the importance of personal development beyond digital fame. By returning to university, he hopes to strengthen his communication skills and expand his opportunities on both national and international platforms.

Akahi News learnt that Peller’s announcement has sparked conversations about the role of formal education in the digital entertainment space, with many urging young influencers to invest in learning as part of long-term career growth.

Peller’s story serves as a reminder that even those who achieve success at a young age may face personal challenges that require humility and dedication to overcome.
