Good morning, dear people of God.
“O God, open our lips, and our mouths will proclaim your praise. Incline to our aid, O Lord, and make haste to help us. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.”
Opening Prayer
God our loving Father, Yours is the day and Yours is the night. We thank You for the gift of a bright new day and the beginning of another week. We are grateful for the privilege of waking in good health of mind and body, and for the opportunities before us to achieve good things in the coming days.
Prayer for Strength and Wisdom
Lord Jesus, as we go forth this week in our official duties, businesses, and personal concerns, make wisdom our guide, and grant us peace and joy. Strengthen us in our weakness, and when difficulties arise, give us courage to overcome them.
Prayer for God’s Presence and Favour
Mighty God, go before us to lead the way, stand behind us to defend us, and remain above us to bless us. Meet us at our points of need. As we labour, may we not labour in vain. Make our efforts successful and fruitful.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, as we also lift up your intentions before God.
Remain blessed and have a grace-filled week.
